Server and Website Rules

Complete rules of conduct for the EclipseCraft server and related platforms. Acceptance of rules is mandatory for all participants.

Last updated: March 2026

1. General Provisions

By registering on the EclipseCraft server or website, you automatically agree to these rules and commit to following them.

Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from responsibility for violations.

The administration reserves the right to change, add, or clarify rules without prior notice. The current version is always available on this page.

Decisions of administration and moderators are final within the server. Appeals are only possible through the official appeal procedure.

2. Communication and Behavior Rules

We strive to create a friendly and comfortable environment for all players. Following these rules is the foundation of a healthy community.

2.1. Respectful Attitude

Treat every participant with respect, regardless of their experience, skill level, or status. Remember that there is a real person behind every nickname.

2.2. No Insults or Toxicity

Any form of insults, humiliation, harassment, and toxic behavior is prohibited. This includes: direct insults, passive aggression, mocking others' mistakes, deliberately provoking conflicts.

2.3. No Discrimination

Discrimination based on any grounds is strictly prohibited: race, nationality, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, political views, or any other characteristic. Zero tolerance for intolerance.

2.4. No Threats

Any threats are prohibited — both in-game (promises of revenge, ruining gameplay) and real-life (threats of physical harm, doxxing, blackmail). Real-life threats result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.

2.5. Constructive Criticism

Criticism is only allowed in constructive form. Instead of "you play terribly" — offer advice. Instead of "that's a stupid idea" — explain what could be improved. The goal of criticism is to help, not to humiliate.

2.6. No Provocations

Deliberate provocations, trolling, inciting conflicts between players or groups are prohibited. "I was just joking" is not an excuse if your actions caused discomfort to other participants.

2.7. Voice Communication

The same rules apply in voice chats as in text chats. Additionally prohibited: loud sounds, music without consent, deliberately creating noise, impersonating other people's voices to mislead.

2.8. Personal Boundaries

Respect other players' personal boundaries. If someone asks you to stop certain behavior toward them — stop. Persistent attempts to force communication after refusal is considered a violation.

3. Chat and Communication Rules

3.1. No Spam or Flooding

Prohibited: repetitive messages, meaningless character strings, excessive use of capital letters (CAPS), abuse of emojis and stickers, sending identical messages to different channels.

3.2. No Advertising

Advertising of third-party servers, websites, services, or channels without administration permission is prohibited. This includes direct links, mentions, and invitations in private messages.

3.3. Personal Data Protection

Publishing other people's personal data without their consent (doxxing) is prohibited: real names, addresses, phone numbers, photos, social media accounts, and any other identifying information.

3.4. Use Channels Appropriately

Use chat channels for their intended purpose. Trade discussions in the trade channel, support questions in the appropriate section. Off-topic is only allowed in designated areas.

3.5. Communication Language

The primary server language is Russian. English is allowed in international channels. Use of other languages is permitted in private conversations and guild chats by agreement of participants.

4. Fair Play

4.1. No Cheats or Mods

Use of any software providing unfair advantage is prohibited: aimbots, wallhacks, speedhacks, autoclickers, macros (except permitted ones), modified clients. The list of permitted modifications is published separately.

4.2. No Exploits

If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to administration immediately. Using bugs for advantage is punished the same as using cheats. Assistance in identifying bugs may be rewarded.

4.3. Multi-accounting

Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, punishments, or gain additional bonuses is prohibited. One main account per person is allowed unless otherwise specified by event rules.

4.4. Real Money Trading (RMT)

Buying, selling, or exchanging game values (items, currency, accounts) for real money outside the official shop is strictly prohibited. Violators receive permanent ban without appeal.

5. Griefing and Sabotage

5.1. Building Protection

Destroying, damaging, or modifying other players' buildings without permission is prohibited. This applies to both individual and guild structures. PvP zones with special rules are marked separately.

5.2. No Stealing

Stealing resources, items, or currency from other players is prohibited, except when it is part of game mechanics in designated zones.

5.3. Teamwork

In team activities (raids, sieges, events), deliberate sabotage of your team is unacceptable. This includes: leaking information to the enemy, intentional mistakes, leaving the game at a critical moment.

5.4. Progress Blocking

Actions aimed at blocking other players' game progress are prohibited: holding key NPCs, blocking passages, deliberately creating obstacles for quest completion.

6. Content and Nicknames

6.1. No NSFW Content

Adult content (pornography, erotica, excessive violence, shock content) is prohibited in all forms: images, texts, descriptions, links, skins, and decorations.

6.2. Nickname Requirements

Nicknames must not contain: insults, profanity, discriminatory terms, imitation of administration names, advertising, personal data of real people. Administration may require a nickname change.

6.3. Skins and Visual Content

Character skins and any user content must comply with general decency standards. Provocative, offensive, or NSFW skins are prohibited.

6.4. Staff Impersonation

Impersonating an administrator, moderator, or official server representative is prohibited. This includes similar nicknames, false claims, and use of official symbols.

7. Account Security

7.1. Password Protection

You are fully responsible for your account security. Use a strong unique password, do not share it with others, do not use the same password across multiple services.

7.2. Account Transfer

Transfer, sale, or exchange of accounts is prohibited. The account is bound to its creator. Administration is not responsible for consequences of account transfer.

7.3. Responsibility for Actions

You are responsible for all actions taken from your account. "It wasn't me, it was my brother/friend" is not an excuse. Protect access to your account.

7.4. Access Recovery

If you lose access to your account, contact support with proof of ownership. Administration may refuse recovery if account ownership cannot be verified.

8. Economy and Trade

8.1. Fair Deals

All trade deals between players must be fair and voluntary. Both parties must understand the terms of the deal before completing it.

8.2. No Fraud

Fraud in any form is prohibited: deal deception, failure to fulfill paid obligations, item substitution, misleading about item characteristics.

8.3. Guild Agreements

Agreements between guilds are binding. Violation of inter-guild agreements may result in sanctions for both individual players and the guild as a whole.

8.4. Official Purchases

Purchases through the official shop are governed by separate public offer terms. Refunds and disputes for official purchases are handled through the support system.

9. Moderation and Sanctions

9.1. Types of Punishments

Depending on violation severity: verbal warning, written warning, temporary mute (chat restriction), temporary ban, permanent ban. Serious violations may result in immediate permanent ban without prior warnings.

9.2. Escalation System

For most violations, an escalation system applies: first violation — warning, repeat — 24-hour mute, third — 7-day mute, fourth — 30-day temporary ban, fifth — permanent ban. Severe violations skip escalation steps.

9.3. Appeal Procedure

If you believe the punishment is unfair, you may file an appeal through the support ticket system within 14 days of the punishment. Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days. The appeal decision is final.

9.4. Log Retention

Chat logs, actions, and violations are stored for 90 days. As part of an appeal, you may request logs related to your violation. Personal data is processed according to the privacy policy.

9.5. Moderator Rights

Moderators have the right to apply sanctions within these rules. Disputing moderator decisions in public channels is prohibited — use the appeal process. Insulting moderators is an aggravating circumstance.

9.6. Amnesty and Punishment Removal

Temporary punishments are automatically lifted upon expiration. Permanent bans may be reconsidered no earlier than 6 months after a written request. Administration may announce periodic amnesties at their discretion.

9.7. Special Administrative Decisions

In individual situations, the administration may make decisions not directly described in the rules if this is necessary to maintain order on the server. Such decisions must rely on common sense, the interests of the project, and preserving a fair gameplay environment.

10. Cities and Territories (Lands)

The server operates a city system based on the Lands plugin, allowing players to establish cities and secure territories for them. This section defines the procedure for player interaction within cities and regulates relations between different cities.

10.1. Creating a City

Players may create cities and claim territory in accordance with the mechanics of the Lands plugin. The person who creates a city automatically acquires the status of city owner and bears responsibility for the actions of its members within the scope of their management authority. A city name must comply with the general server rules. The administration may require a name change, rename the city on its own, or delete the city if the rules are violated.

10.2. Player Territories Inside a City

The inclusion of land within a city does not exclude the possibility that individual areas remain assigned to specific players. Without the prior permission of the relevant owner, access to another player's chests or storage, entry onto personal territory, and visiting such territory against the owner's will are prohibited. Disputes and conflicts between players inside a city must be resolved peacefully or with the involvement of the administration.

10.3. Visiting Cities

A city may operate under an open or closed access regime. Where a closed regime is established, this information must be explicitly indicated in the city name or description. Visiting a closed city without the permission of the owner or authorized persons is prohibited.

10.4. Behavior Inside Cities

Within city territory, griefing, destruction or damage of buildings, construction without the consent of the relevant territory owner, and placement of traps or other potentially dangerous mechanisms are prohibited. Before starting construction, a player must obtain approval from the city owner or officially appointed deputies regarding the permitted location and conditions of construction.

10.5. Farms and Builds

Farms, farming systems, and similar structures built by a player within city territory are regarded as part of the city's infrastructure unless expressly agreed otherwise in advance. If the player leaves the city, such structures remain at the city's disposal. Requests for their removal, return, dismantling, or relocation will not be satisfied.

10.6. Shared Storage

Players may establish shared storage facilities provided that such storage is properly marked with a sign and expressly designated as public or shared. Resources placed in such storage are considered available for use by all city members in accordance with the established access regime. From the moment a player leaves the city, they lose any right of access to shared storage and to the resources contained in it, even if they previously contributed their own items.

10.7. Leaving a City

A player who ceases participation in a city must remove their personal belongings and resources, insofar as they do not form part of the city's common property, within 7 calendar days. If the player is unable to retrieve such property independently, they must notify the administration in advance so that the situation may be reviewed individually.

10.8. Territorial Restrictions

Any actions aimed at artificially restricting the development of another player's territory or city are prohibited, including surrounding land through Lands, enclosing a player's territory in a ring, surrounding cities with one's own territories or builds, and any other form of blocking expansion. Each city must retain a reasonable opportunity for further development and expansion.

10.9. Relations Between Cities

Insults directed at other cities, provocation of inter-city conflicts, and dissemination of statements intended to incite hostility between cities are prohibited. Significant disputes and conflicts between cities are subject to resolution with the involvement of the administration.

10.10. Abandoned Cities

A city may be recognized as abandoned where the owner has been absent for an extended period, the city shows no signs of development, or the occupied territory unreasonably obstructs the development of other players. In such cases, the administration may transfer control to active participants, reduce the city's territory, or remove the city in full.

10.11. Tickets and Complaints

In the event of unauthorized entry into a closed city, only the city owner or an officially designated deputy is entitled to submit a support ticket. Other city members may collect evidence of the violation and transfer it to the authorized city representatives for further submission to the administration.

10.12. Unclear Situations

Where any doubt exists as to whether a particular action is permissible, the player must obtain clarification from the administration in advance. Any disputed action taken without prior clarification will be reviewed on general grounds.

11. Farm World

The farm world is intended exclusively for the placement of game farms and the technical infrastructure associated with them. The general server rules apply to that world in full, while this section establishes additional mandatory restrictions for all players.

11.1. Purpose of the Farm World

Use of the farm world as a primary world for residence, progression, or routine gameplay is prohibited. In particular, residential bases, transfer of main progression, storage of primary household infrastructure, and ordinary resource gathering outside the needs of farm operation are not permitted.

11.2. Allowed Builds

Only functional farms and technical structures objectively necessary for their operation, maintenance, or configuration may be placed in the farm world. Chaotic, decorative, excessive, or non-functional construction is prohibited.

11.3. Territory Usage

Players are prohibited from occupying excessive areas without objective necessity, interfering with neighboring builds, or taking over land that is already in actual use by other players. Space in the farm world must be used rationally and efficiently.

11.4. Automation and Load

Automatic farms are permitted only if they are technically optimized and do not adversely affect server performance. If the operation of a farm causes lag, excessive load, or otherwise reduces server stability, the administration may require its modification, temporary shutdown, relocation, or dismantling.

11.5. Resource Gathering

Gathering natural resources in the farm world is permitted only to the extent directly necessary for the maintenance, construction, or operation of a specific farm. Use of the farm world for systematic resource extraction as an alternative to the main world is prohibited.

11.6. Vanilla Structures

It is prohibited to occupy, claim, or block vanilla structures that are significant for gameplay, farm construction, or access by other players to key mechanics, where such actions restrict shared access or create unreasonable obstacles.

11.7. Administrative Intervention

If any build, mechanism, or other object in the farm world does not correspond to the intended purpose of that world, interferes with other players, violates established restrictions, or creates excessive load on the server, the administration may restrict its use, require the owner to relocate or dismantle it, and, where necessary, remove the object.

Rule violations result in sanctions up to permanent ban. If you witness a violation — report to a moderator or create a support ticket.
